Hi AccuClass Users! Each AccuClass user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.
Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

Allow teacher to call or text student from Roll Call Screen during attendance.
We take student attendance during the roll call. We want the teacher to be able to contact the student in a more immediate communication method then email to find out why the student is not at school.. Having a phone number or SMS link will allow the teacher, using the mobile application to contact the student immediately.

lock security settings on sign-out
The kiosk mode for the Apple AccuClass App is great, but once you sign out of the app the security settings revert to the default (lock off, no security code.) It would be nice if these settings would stick. My faculty forget to go back into settings when they log back in to set their code and turn on the "lock swipe tracking screen" setting.

need better reports
It would be nice if you added class schedule information on your attendance summary by status. Also there needs to be a way to mark students as withdrawn without deleting the student's attendance history.

Allow adding a new department while adding a new class
It would be nice to allow the user to create a new department right in the new class screen to prevent switching from screens many times.

Don't require a unique code for a class. Make that optional.
I just had to make up these codes since our school information system didn't assign them. K12 school.

Don't allow users to schedule classes for the same room in the same time slot
I just successfully booked two different classes for the same day, same time, and same classroom. We should make it so this is impossible.

Change the order of the columns in the attendance sheet
Allow the user to choose how the attendance sheet is viewed. For example, most of the time I would prefer the first column to be the most recent date (today or the last school day) when I open my attendance sheet.

Have Roll Call create a printout
We are just using Accuclass to record tardies at present. We want to start simple. But the front office secretaries want to scan an ID and have the computer print out a time stamped tardy pass. The time stamp gives the homeroom teacher an idea how long a student was in the hall. We would like a listing of previous tardies so that after a certain number the teacher would give the parents a phone call. But that would just need to a be the number of tardies.

Home button text
Being new to the software, at initial setup, once you click on the quick start guide, and it starts going through the process of creating students/adding classes etc. its a little confusing on how to return to the quick start if you need to. Maybe some sort of dialogue/text box could be added to let users know that clicking on the home button will return them to the beginning of the quick start mene/home menu.

In Internet Explorer, the back button needs to be able to take you back to the home screen
In Internet explorer, from the home screen, if you click on view/edit class, then say the department button, then click on the back button twice... it will not take you back to the home screen, it will return you to the department screen.

Show the import results in a popup
Show the results of the import pop up in a new window. I say this because once you leave that page the results disappear.

Departments behaving strangely
I added "English Department" and somehow got "Department of English Department". I edited that and removed "Department of", but when I saved I also got additional Department words that I did not type! Not sure if the software is getting confused by entries from other users?

Room availability check?
The software allows you to enter different classes at the same time and the room. We might want to warn about the conflict but give the user the option to save anyway.

If my computer is set as a sign-in station can it show me which one
We have too many Sign-in Stations to keep track of at my school and I cannot tell which room I am setup as a Sign-In Station.

Enroll students screen
Once you have your student database loaded, every time you add a student to a class, the list defaults to the top. You should format the screen so that it returns back to the point in the list where you just added the previous student. With 230 students in my inventory, I am having to hit the "load more" at the bottom of the screen and scroll back down to the next student in the list each time. Thanks for your consideration

Resolving unresolved swipes
When resolving the unresolved swipes, it would be nice if it would allow us the option to mark present/tardy/etc. while correcting the issue. For example, when it is an "unknown student" and you can identify the student, it would be beneficial if we had the ability to mark present/tardy/etc. right away instead of having to go into an second area to mark it.

AccuClass ADX schedule import should allow blank or partial meeting patterns
If the Schedule header is included, the ADX import requires valid non-blank meeting pattern strings for all rows. Some sections may have no meeting patterns, while others may have meeting patters with partial data (e.g. days but no time, or times but no days). The potential work-around that I got was to import twice -- once with the column and once without -- but I suppose this would only work properly if the default import behavior is to merge as opposed to overwrite.

Implement a feature to allow group enrollment for classes
Our medical college operates on a trimester admission (MD1, MD2, MD3, etc). Being that we have a standardized curriculum, there are specific and relatively consistent courses associated with each trimester, so the ability to enroll students by group would be a major time saver.
