Hi AccuClass Users! Each AccuClass user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.
Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

Enable all clocks to leverage a "Student" manual login to record attendance, if primary option is not available. i.e...Student lost card
We have mag card reading time clocks, we would like the option for a student to manually key their card id if they don't have their card. Key in ID, with no password requirement and this be recorded as a "swipe" for attendance.

Make the Export feature be available for instructors
The export function is only available to administrators right now. An export function for the attendance would be immensely helpful for the teachers who are actually teaching the classes.

Implement a feature to allow group enrollment for classes
Our medical college operates on a trimester admission (MD1, MD2, MD3, etc). Being that we have a standardized curriculum, there are specific and relatively consistent courses associated with each trimester, so the ability to enroll students by group would be a major time saver.

Have an excel or word print out of the attendence summary
Would like a electronic summary of the attendance in word ot excel

Student ID
Add the student ID as this is a unique identifier, as classify by this number.

If my computer is set as a sign-in station can it show me which one
We have too many Sign-in Stations to keep track of at my school and I cannot tell which room I am setup as a Sign-In Station.

Use Student Groups as well for registering Students to their Classes
Each class has one or more student groups that attends the class. In this example we have a group for all BDS5 students, other groups for A,B,C,D. Finally we have subgroups A1 and A2 which are subgroups of A. There are 2 subgroups of each group B,C,D also.
Therefore each student can belong to more than one group.What we really need is to be able to define the student groups in a department. Either manually or importing a .csv file with Student ID, Group ID

Allow teacher to call or text student from Roll Call Screen during attendance.
We take student attendance during the roll call. We want the teacher to be able to contact the student in a more immediate communication method then email to find out why the student is not at school.. Having a phone number or SMS link will allow the teacher, using the mobile application to contact the student immediately.

Fix problems displaying long list of Students in Class Attendance
The Class Attendance screen displays the first 75+ users and thier attendance info just fine...after the that a Horizontal scroll bar is displayed (that does nothing) and the students listed below the scroll-bar do not display any attendance information. This behavior is the same in both CHROME and FIREFOX

can also print barcodes instead of qr codes
We can scan barcodes with a simpler scanner on the computer with barcodes
7 votesQR codes are intended for scanning the the AccuClass app. We will consider supporting the linear barcode for use with the sign-in station computer.

Add different levels of administrators
I need admins that can have more access to the system than instructor but less than full admin. Have roles for each area in the system that can be easily checked on/off.

AccuClass ADX schedule import should allow blank or partial meeting patterns
If the Schedule header is included, the ADX import requires valid non-blank meeting pattern strings for all rows. Some sections may have no meeting patterns, while others may have meeting patters with partial data (e.g. days but no time, or times but no days). The potential work-around that I got was to import twice -- once with the column and once without -- but I suppose this would only work properly if the default import behavior is to merge as opposed to overwrite.

lock security settings on sign-out
The kiosk mode for the Apple AccuClass App is great, but once you sign out of the app the security settings revert to the default (lock off, no security code.) It would be nice if these settings would stick. My faculty forget to go back into settings when they log back in to set their code and turn on the "lock swipe tracking screen" setting.

Create parameters for filters for the ADX Export tool.
The export function of the ADX tool is not very useful if all the data must be exported every time. Filters, such as though available interactively, would make the tool much more useful and facilitate the automation of the exchange of data between customers and AccuClass.

Resolving unresolved swipes
When resolving the unresolved swipes, it would be nice if it would allow us the option to mark present/tardy/etc. while correcting the issue. For example, when it is an "unknown student" and you can identify the student, it would be beneficial if we had the ability to mark present/tardy/etc. right away instead of having to go into an second area to mark it.

Add a percentage total at the bottom of the Attendance Summary and a print button
By adding the average percentage of time in the class by the student it leaves less to figure out on my own. I like the hours but the percentage being averaged would be good too. I think a print button on this screen would make it seem like more of a reporting feature.

Enroll students screen
Once you have your student database loaded, every time you add a student to a class, the list defaults to the top. You should format the screen so that it returns back to the point in the list where you just added the previous student. With 230 students in my inventory, I am having to hit the "load more" at the bottom of the screen and scroll back down to the next student in the list each time. Thanks for your consideration

Have Roll Call create a printout
We are just using Accuclass to record tardies at present. We want to start simple. But the front office secretaries want to scan an ID and have the computer print out a time stamped tardy pass. The time stamp gives the homeroom teacher an idea how long a student was in the hall. We would like a listing of previous tardies so that after a certain number the teacher would give the parents a phone call. But that would just need to a be the number of tardies.
