AccuClass Feedback
Hi AccuClass Users! Each AccuClass user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.
Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

It would be great if you could customize individual statuses.
For example, I have students who only have to attend Part Time, 2 of our 4 meetings. It would be awesome if I could have the option of selecting a student and putting in which days they are to be there.

This can be accomplished by creating a different Semester for each “Start Date” and “End Date” you want to track and then assigning Classes to that Semester with the corresponding dates needed to be tracked. Semesters can overlap in AccuClass so that is why this would work. The only downside would be that this would create several different semesters (instead of one all-encompassing Semester) and you could not pick simply one Semester to report on. So instead when reporting you’ll have to just pick the dates of the entire semester to report across all these Semesters you’ve created.

this is a huge plus
During a class, the students who sign in, instead of their name appearing for a brief moment, the names of everyone "signed in" should be easily available in a drop down or simply displayed permanently, until the teacher clicks them away.
1 voteThanks for the suggestion. For privacy, the names disappear from the sign-in station. Actually another user requested we do not show the names! Note that instructors can still view the full list of students through their account.

Add signout time allowance
Ability to track kids that are using facility for after school day care expenses... After hours are more expensive.

1 voteHi Mary, The students only need to type their ID or swipe a card, they don’t need to use the software at all. If you want to learn how to use the software I would recommend asking for a walk through in accuclass@engineerica.com or calling (407) 542-4982.

Group Students into Classes
Instead of having to manually enter in students names into a class, it would be nice to have an option to add students into groups just type the name of the group for the class they are assigned to and have it populate the names of the students in that group instead of having to manually enter every students name into the class enrollment.

This software in Internet Explorer really needs to be looked at
I understand that I've already made a few comments about the program duplicating certain attributes on the UI, but it looks to be in a lot of places. Do you want me to continue posting them, or stop?

"Add department" in the quick start guide should be above/before "add class"
In the quick start guide, "add class" is above or appears before "add department", which seems a bit counter-intuitive because there is a select department box in add class. Maybe put "add department" above or before "add class", in the quick start guide.

The change to a class schedule only affects the dates after the change.
I noticed when a schedule had changed from like Thursday 4PM to Thursday 2PM. The Attendance sheet shown the change across the entire semester and at first it seemed like the attendance data was lost but it just was not being displayed because no attendance had been recorded for those specified times in the past. If there were a way to keep the old dates/times up to the point the change in the schedule occurred that would be awesome. If not at least be able to export the "Attendance" data.
1 voteThat’s the way it works. It basically update the schedule for the whole semester, but in the case you already have recorded attendance, it won’t change (because you don’t want to lose that info!).

In Internet Explorer, the software is duplicating the classes values, so that it is showing two of the same classes.

Since it’s the same bug, we will keep only one of them. -
When changing a class schedule, the old sessions still appear in search results.
For example, create a class with schedule Mondays at 1pm. Save it. Then change it to Mondays at 2pm. Then go swipe a card and search for 'class sessions'. Both sessions will be displayed.
