AccuClass Feedback
Hi AccuClass Users! Each AccuClass user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.
Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

Add a "Kiosk Mode" to the AccuClass App for the Apple devices
Basically if you were to wall mount the iPad, iPhone, or iPod and needed to lock the device so the students cannot simply exit out of the "Swipe Cards" mode. At the moment I would have to swipe the students myself because of this not being there. You could add a simple pin code or password required to unlock the kiosk mode from that screen. Similarly to how we are doing this on an AccuClass PC Sign-in Station.
19 votesThis feature has been added since the release of a recent update in the AccuClass app build 2.0.0 for Android and Apple devices alike on September 26, 2016. To setup this lock screen in the app you’ll need go to the “Settings icon > Sign-in Station Unlock Code” to set a password to unlock the Sign-in Station. Then in those same settings toggle the option to “Lock Sign-in Station” which enables/creates the “Kiosk Mode” that everyone was requesting back in October 2013. Now from the Main screen simply click on the Sign-in Station option and select a Classroom to track. If you have further questions please email accuclass@engineerica.com for support.

Specialized/Custom Reporting by Class
Currently in the export of a class the only thing you can do is export all data from all classes. It would be nice if you only export data out by certain fields (IE: running a custom report on one class, the students enrolled in that class and what time they swiped in and out along with how many minutes they were tardy (if they were marked tardy)).
9 votesHi Jeremy, check out the new Attendance Summary report. AccuClass now records the total time the students were in. Please note that the time is not calculated for past sessions.

Deleting a student should UN-enroll them from classes
If a student is deleted from the student master list, then they should be removed/deleted from any class that they were enrolled in.

Having AccuClass fixed on the Ipad Hardware. layouts not working well for Ipads
Trialing it out on iphone has worked well. Transitioned to Ipad, and the app is only works well in the iphone. Ipad does not have an ipad download. Once downloaded, the layout does not sync well with the ipad for size/ or when the screen is rotated. The software doesn't mesh well with the ipad format and screen. Issues arises .

Create an AccuClass Android App
It would be really helpful to have an AccuClass Android App. When using the system for my Academy I have teachers who like to take attendance on there phones. Some teachers who have android phones are now forced to bring there laptops in to take attendance or borrow another teachers iPhone. It would be extremely helpful if AccuClass released an android mobile. Otherwise AccuClass is great.

Student's name displayed on check in/check out on iPad
When a student swipes/scans in on the ipad/iphone version of the accuclass app, it just displays that the scan was accepted but it doesn't display the name of the student who swiped in. This functionality would be fantastic if it were added in to discourage students from "Buddy Punching". It would also be great it the system displayed their picture as well so the instructor could match the students face to their swipe to (once again) discourage buddy punching.

Allow Overlapping Semsters
Our school has classes that start their semesters at different times. It would be nice if that functionality could be added in so we could create semesters for our day and night classes.

Add "Off times" for holidays in the semester
Add "Off times" for holidays such as Memorial Day, Independence Day , etc. when school is not in session from the normal schedule.

Create and app for Android
This app is exactly what we are looking for to do attendance at our school, but we use Android devices. If this was available for Android, we would use it for sure!
4 votesWe now have an app for Android devices. Note that unlike Apple iOS, there are different versions of Android depending on the hardware, and these differences might make apps work differently, or not work at all, depending on the device and its Android version.

"Unable to execute action" is displayed when trying to resolve a swipe.

Change default class end time
You can check this but usually MWF classes are 50 minutes long while TR classes are 75 minutes long. After picking a class start time (e.g. 10:00 AM Monday) it would be nice if the system defaults to the end time (e.g. 10:50 AM in our example).

Software is duplicating the info in Internet Explorer
This appears to be only occurring in Internet Explorer, but after you log in to AccuClass, then click on students, click on home button then go back to students... it was showing two sets of each student. Once it started doing it, it would not go away. If you delete one of the duplicates, hit the home button, then return to students, it would delete both of the students.

have a confirmation to delete a Class just like there is one for the Semester
If you click delete on a Class it just is gone... no confirmation and you have no attendance, no registered students, nothing. It is close to the links for enrollment and attendance so it might be accidentally clicked on.

Error: Administrators cannot edit users.
It was working before, now it says that the user is not authorized.

correct using "Swipe a card" for sign-in and sign-out it records Attendance but marks absent
We signed-in and signed-out students in a class and it recorded their logs but the "presence" remained absent.

Add Instructor to Class
For an institutional license especially, it seems to me it would make sense to be able to add the instructor to the class. Then we could have an attendance by instructor export. That would make it possible for directors, etc. to see the attendance for all our some of their instructors. Further, if they had classes like ENG1101 they would have a hard time figuring which instrcutor was teaching the class since multiple ENG1101 classses could be offered in different classrooms. If it was ENG1101 instructor Dr. Smith or ENG1101 instructor Dr. Jones it would make it a lot easier…
