Hi AccuClass Users! Each AccuClass user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.
Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

How can I use the front camera on the iPad or iPhone app? The app has ability to use the camera, it just doesn't scan. This way a student could scan themselves in to an iPad that is mounted flush to the wall.
0 votesYou can select the front camera via the iPhone or iPad Settings section. Look for AccuClass section and review the settings there. One of the items allows you to select Front or Back camera.

Adjustments to regular time dismissal
In case there is an early dismissal or half day, the students can sign out early without them saying they left early

Why is is coming up "left early" when they have scanned in?
Hi there,
I have scanned in a class of people using the iPhone app. When I look at the attendance, it says they all "left early."
It should say attended or tardy, can you please let me know why this has happened and if there is a way to resolve it.

Attendance status assignment rules per class
I would like to assign different parameters per class such as tardy and absent rules.

permit custom times for "one time meetings"
The drop down for class times when adding a "one time meeting" for a class allow only 30 minute increments. I want the option to type in my time.

Create an AccuClass Android App
It would be really helpful to have an AccuClass Android App. When using the system for my Academy I have teachers who like to take attendance on there phones. Some teachers who have android phones are now forced to bring there laptops in to take attendance or borrow another teachers iPhone. It would be extremely helpful if AccuClass released an android mobile. Otherwise AccuClass is great.

Having AccuClass fixed on the Ipad Hardware. layouts not working well for Ipads
Trialing it out on iphone has worked well. Transitioned to Ipad, and the app is only works well in the iphone. Ipad does not have an ipad download. Once downloaded, the layout does not sync well with the ipad for size/ or when the screen is rotated. The software doesn't mesh well with the ipad format and screen. Issues arises .

Allow students to check their attendance on the app using their unique identification number.
A student can go in and check their attendance record to make sure that they were checked in for each class and also to help see what classes they missed and potential material they missed out on. This would allow students to make sure that they signed in and would also be a double check for the software to act as a red flag if multiple students start having issues with not being counted as present.

Add SSL option for AccuClass so data transmissions are encrypted.
Not sure why this is not an option but we really need this as an option for our school.

Create and app for Android
This app is exactly what we are looking for to do attendance at our school, but we use Android devices. If this was available for Android, we would use it for sure!
4 votesWe now have an app for Android devices. Note that unlike Apple iOS, there are different versions of Android depending on the hardware, and these differences might make apps work differently, or not work at all, depending on the device and its Android version.

Add a print and "export to excel" button for attendance summary report
Basically so instructors can easily get report data out of AccuClass

Add a "Kiosk Mode" to the AccuClass App for the Apple devices
Basically if you were to wall mount the iPad, iPhone, or iPod and needed to lock the device so the students cannot simply exit out of the "Swipe Cards" mode. At the moment I would have to swipe the students myself because of this not being there. You could add a simple pin code or password required to unlock the kiosk mode from that screen. Similarly to how we are doing this on an AccuClass PC Sign-in Station.
19 votesThis feature has been added since the release of a recent update in the AccuClass app build 2.0.0 for Android and Apple devices alike on September 26, 2016. To setup this lock screen in the app you’ll need go to the “Settings icon > Sign-in Station Unlock Code” to set a password to unlock the Sign-in Station. Then in those same settings toggle the option to “Lock Sign-in Station” which enables/creates the “Kiosk Mode” that everyone was requesting back in October 2013. Now from the Main screen simply click on the Sign-in Station option and select a Classroom to track. If you have further questions please email accuclass@engineerica.com for support.

Add a clear option on the roll call in case you accidentally call roll for the wrong day
There is a "clear all" option on the AccuClass app for your iPhone so why not out a "clear all" option on the website.
